I’m Patrick Youells, a senior full-stack software engineer based in Charleston, South Carolina. I’ve spent 10+ years working across automotive retail, finance, healthcare, and federal systems.

My work spans React interfaces, Node.js services, platform modernization, and AI-assisted engineering. From establishing CarMax’s Auto Finance frontend to modernizing AdvisorEngine CRM, I bring hands-on craft and a view of the whole system.

Built the Auto Finance frontend from the ground up and created Demo Mode for development, QA, and product demos. Built 20 reusable AI agent skills, connected workflows through GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Figma, and introduced release automation and AI-generated production release notes. Additional work included Finance for You pre-qualification, the Dash micro-frontend platform, registration follow-up, mobile store check-in, Offer Hub, and Appraisal Checkout.
